I have a new cat. This is a pretty accurate representation of how he wakes me up.. ok, maybe not the last bit, but it feels like it at 6 am...
It's funny actually, I haven't lived in a house with a cat for over 25 years (at least) but have been spending a lot of time at our friends' house who have a cat. And I just got it into my head that I really wanted to have a cat again.. until this time I've had a pair of pet snakes for about 5 years and I guess I just wanted something a little more interactive. Cats are interesting, they're almost more of a roommate than a pet.. and a bit of a bossy one at that. However, there is really nothing more relaxing at the end of a stressy day than having a little black ball of fluff curl up purring on your lap. It's pretty amazing.
I could never own a cat.
